Sorbitol Solution 70% is a clear, colourless, syrupy liquid polyol (sugar alcohol) with a smooth mouthfeel and a sweet, cool, pleasant taste. It is approximately 60% as sweet as sucrose while providing roughly one-third fewer calories, which makes it a preferred bulk sweetener, humectant and bodying agent across food, pharmaceutical, oral care and cosmetic applications.
Supplied in Crystalline grade and manufactured to BP / USP / EP pharmacopoeial standards, our Sorbitol Solution 70% typically contains not less than 68% D-sorbitol, together with low mannitol, low reducing sugars and low total sugars.
