Sorbitol Solution 70% is a clear, colourless liquid sweetener. It is a sugar alcohol (polyol), CAS 50-70-4, INS 420 / E420.
It tastes about 60% as sweet as sugar and has about one-third fewer calories. It feels smooth in the mouth and tastes sweet and cool.
Because it is already liquid, you can pump it straight from the drum — no dissolving, no dust, no caking. It stays liquid in cold storage.

What is Sorbitol Solution 70%? It is sorbitol in liquid form — 70% solids and 30% water. It is a sugar alcohol used as a sweetener and humectant in food and personal care products.
Is it the same as sugar? No. It is a sugar alcohol, not sugar. It is about 60% as sweet as sugar and has about one-third fewer calories. It is used in sugar-free and reduced-sugar products.
Do I need to dissolve it? No. It is already liquid. You can pump or pour it straight from the drum.
Will it crystallise in cold weather? It is made to stay liquid in cool storage. The batch record includes a cold-storage test at 18°C for 48 hours with no crystallisation. Store drums in a cool, dry, ventilated place and avoid big temperature changes.
What packing can you supply? 250 kg, 270 kg and 275 kg drums, in new plastic or steel. Tell us which you need.
