Sorbitol Solution 70% (also written as sorbitol liquid 70%, D-sorbitol solution, D-glucitol, sorbol or sorbite) is a clear, colourless, syrupy polyol (sugar alcohol) with a smooth mouthfeel and a sweet, cool, pleasant taste. It is a bulk sweetener that is about 60% as sweet as sucrose while delivering about one-third fewer calories.
