Every batch is a clear, colourless syrup manufactured under controlled conditions to the internationally recognised BP, USP and EP standards — and every batch is released only after passing a full physical, chemical and microbiological test panel, with its own Certificate of Analysis to prove it.
That means the numbers you specify are the numbers you receive. In the crystalline grade, D-Sorbitol is guaranteed at ≥ 68.0%, reducing sugars at ≤ 0.03%, total sugar at ≤ 0.20% and D-mannitol at ≤ 1.5%, with heavy metals (as Pb), arsenic, nickel and iron all controlled at ≤ 1.0 mg/kg, chloride at ≤ 10 mg/kg and sulphate at ≤ 20 mg/kg. Dry substance, water content, refractive index and specific gravity are verified on every batch, so what is pumped into your process behaves exactly as your formula expects.
At the same time, liquid sorbitol remains one of the most convenient and best-established polyols in use. It arrives ready to pump and dose at a minimum 70% dry substance, needs no dissolving, and is a polyol used safely in processed foods for almost half a century.
