    Hydroxypropyl Methyl Cellulose (HPMC), CAS No. 9004-65-3, is a nonionic cellulose  manufactured from selected pure cotton cellulose. This construction-grade HPMC is specially designed as a multifunctional additive for dry-mix building materials.

    It appears as a white to off-white powder or granule, odorless and tasteless, and dissolves readily in cold water to form a clear, viscous solution, making it easy to disperse during mortar production and on-site mixing.
