Construction Grade HPMC (Hydroxypropyl Methyl Cellulose) is a non‑ionic water‑soluble cellulose , specially developed as key additive for dry‑mix building materials. Made from refined cotton pulp, it delivers excellent water retention, thickening, anti‑sagging, lubrication and bonding performance for cement‑based and gypsum‑based construction formulations. Our HPMC powder features stable viscosity, good dispersion and consistent batch‑to‑batch quality, widely adopted in wall putty, tile adhesive, dry mix mortar, gypsum plaster and other building chemical products. Multiple viscosity grades are available from 40000‑200000 cps to meet different construction formula requirements.
Effectively prevent fast water loss, guarantee full hydration of cement & gypsum, reduce cracking, powdering and peeling problems of mortar and putty, improve final strength of finished products. Works stable even under high‑temperature construction conditions.
Increase system viscosity rapidly, provide good thixotropy. Avoid slipping and sagging on vertical surfaces, especially critical for tile adhesive and thick‑layer wall putty construction.
Great lubricating performance makes mixing and application easier. Prolong open time, give workers more adjusting time during on‑site operation, raise construction efficiency and lower rework rate.
Enhance bonding strength between building materials and base substrate. Form flexible protective film, improve durability of mortar, plaster and skim coat.
Well compatible with cement, gypsum, redispersible polymer powder and other construction additives. Fine free‑flowing white powder, easy for dry mixing, low impurity, stable performance batch by batch.
