Maltitol Syrup (also called Liquid Maltitol / Maltitol Solution) is a food‑grade sugar alcohol (polyol) sweetener produced by catalytic hydrogenation of high‑maltose starch hydrolysate. It appears as colorless or light‑yellow viscous liquid with clean, sucrose‑like sweetness, around 75‑90% sweetness of sucrose, without bitter after‑taste or obvious cooling effect.
Our bulk Maltitol Liquid meets FCC V, USP food‑grade specifications, with minimum 75% dry substance and ≥50% maltitol content on anhydrous basis, sorbitol ≤6.0%. It works as multi‑functional ingredient: sweetener, humectant, thickener and stabilizer, widely adopted for sugar‑free, reduced‑calorie and diabetic‑friendly food & pharmaceutical formulations worldwide.
Used as excipient sweetener for oral syrups, chewable tablets and lozenges; mask bitter taste of active ingredients; non‑crystallizing property prevents cap‑locking in liquid medicine preparations.
