Maltitol Syrup 80/55, also known as Hydrogenated Starch Hydrolysate (HSH, E965), is a clear, colorless viscous liquid. This food grade maltitol syrup contains minimum 55% D-Maltitol on dry basis with solid content 80%. It serves as humectant, non-crystallizing sweetener and texture modifier in food industry. It locks moisture, stabilizes texture and prevents crystallization in sugar-free food formulations.
Our food grade maltitol syrup 80/55 is manufactured under strict food safety control. Every batch is inspected before shipment. COA and MSDS can be supplied for quality verification and customs clearance. It features good thermal stability and excellent compatibility with most food raw materials. We support dual packing options: IBC tank and 250kg plastic drum for different bulk order demands.
For sugar-free confectionery, this HSH syrup maintains soft texture of candies, pastilles and chewing gum, avoiding grain precipitation. It provides mild sweetness and helps extend shelf life of finished products.
It is also widely used in bakery and functional foods. It retains moisture in baked goods to keep softness, works in low-calorie and nutraceutical products as non-cariogenic sweetener and humectant.
We provide flexible packing solutions: IBC tank and 250kg leak-proof plastic drums. Both packages are suitable for long-distance ocean transportation. Custom packing can be discussed for large bulk orders. The shelf life is 24 months under proper storage. Please keep containers sealed in cool, dry and ventilated warehouse, away from direct sunlight and high temperature.

One certificate covers each IBC lot, and the lot code is repeated on the container label and the packing list.
Continuous confectionery lines. A line that runs through a shift needs a feed that does not stop for drum changes. An IBC tied into a transfer pump gives an uninterrupted supply, and the level can be checked without opening the container.
Chocolate and compound plants. Metered into the melange by mass, the syrup is drawn through a closed line and the valve is closed between batches. The tonne unit suits a mixer that runs several masses a day.
Bakery filling kitchens. Where filling is made in 500-1000kg batches, one IBC matches one batch and removes the weighing of four drums.
Beverage syrup rooms. A bulk container can be connected to a day tank feed line, keeping the concentrate area closed and reducing the number of open containers in a wet room.
Co-packers and multi-product sites. A site running several customers' recipes can hold one grade in IBCs and dedicate a container to a single product run, which simplifies allergen and changeover control.

Release covers dry substance, water, maltitol and sorbitol, pH, reducing sugars, ash, metals and microbiological counts. Before filling, each IBC is inspected for a clean interior, a sound valve and an intact cage, and the filled unit is weighed to confirm the 1000kg net.
Lot codes link the container to its evaporation run, and the code is recorded on the pallet label, the certificate and the packing list. Retained samples are held so a delivery can be re-tested without opening the valve.
The container is a food-grade HDPE IBC in a galvanised steel cage, with an upper fill port and a bottom butterfly valve, filled with the syrup at 70-75°C. Each unit carries a tamper-evident seal on the valve and a label with lot code, net weight and grade. An 18-20 unit load fills a 20ft container depending on the destination weight limit, and units are strapped for the voyage. Neutral labelling is available.

Store IBCs under cover at 18-30°C, on a level floor and never stacked more than two high. Leave the valve closed and the seal in place until the unit is in position, and connect a dry, food-grade transfer line before opening. Warm a cold unit in a warming room rather than with an open flame, and drain the line after use to avoid a heel that could crystallise. Sealed units hold specification for 24 months.
