Sorbitol powder, also known as D-Glucitol, belongs to the polyol family and is a naturally derived sugar alcohol produced through catalytic hydrogenation of glucose. Our crystalline sorbitol powder is available in food grade and cosmetic grade, manufactured under rigorous quality control standards conforming to FCC, USP, EP and BP monographs. It appears as free-flowing white crystalline solid, odorless, with a mild sweet taste and pleasant cooling sensation upon dissolving.
This multi-functional raw material is widely sourced in bulk by global manufacturers. It works not merely as a low-calorie sweetener, but also acts as humectant, texturizer, anti-crystallizing agent and bulking filler.
