Sorbitol Liquid is a clear, colourless sugar alcohol syrup produced by the catalytic hydrogenation of glucose. It is supplied as a ready-to-use aqueous solution at 70% concentration, so a formulator can dose it directly into the batch instead of dissolving, filtering and de-aerating powdered sorbitol on the line.
Being a polyol rather than a sugar, sorbitol liquid delivers sweetness together with humectancy, plasticising and anti-crystallising functions in a single ingredient. In beverages and syrups it adds body and mouthfeel while softening the dry finish of high-intensity sweeteners. In confectionery and chewing gum it keeps the texture soft and stops sucrose from crystallising during storage. In oral care and personal care it holds moisture in the paste or cream and keeps the product from drying out inside the pack.
The syrup is neutral in taste and odour, fully miscible with water, and stable in the pH range normally used in food, oral care and cosmetic formulations. It is supplied as a food grade ingredient, with cosmetic and pharmaceutical grades available on request against the corresponding specification.

Production runs under ISO 9001 and ISO 22000 management systems. Halal and Kosher certificates are available for confirmation before shipment. Each batch is tested for assay, water content, pH, specific gravity, heavy metals, lead, nickel, sulfated ash and microbiological status before release, and a retained sample is kept from every lot so that any enquiry can be traced back to the original analysis. Raw material, process parameters and packing are recorded per lot, giving full traceability from glucose feedstock to finished drum.

Sorbitol Liquid is packed in blue high density polyethylene (HDPE) drums built for export handling, with a flat lid carrying two sealed bungs and two reinforcing ribs on the body. Each drum carries a batch number and production date on the label, and the liner is heat sealed before the lid is closed to protect the syrup in transit. Drum net weight, pallet configuration and container loading are confirmed on the order page and in the proforma invoice. Shipments are arranged by sea, by rail or by air depending on volume and destination, and documentation is prepared to the requirement of the destination country.

Store the drums in a cool, dry, well ventilated place, away from direct sunlight and away from strong odours, at a temperature below 30 °C. Keep the bungs closed when the drum is not in use, since the syrup is hygroscopic and will absorb moisture from the air. Product that has been decanted should be used in the shortest practical time and the container kept sealed. Shelf life is stated on each drum label and on the batch Certificate of Analysis. The product is not classified as dangerous goods for transport.
Most buyers of sorbitol liquid are not buying a commodity; they are buying the certainty that the syrup in the drum matches the specification on the paper, arrives in a condition they can use, and comes with the documents their own customer or authority will ask for. That is what we organise the whole order around.
One source for liquid and powder. Sorbitol is produced on our own line by catalytic hydrogenation of glucose, and the same operation supplies both the 70% solution and the powder. If your formulation later moves from syrup to powder, or you need both for different product lines, the specification basis, the COA format and the contact person stay the same.
The grade is matched to your market, not to our stock. Food grade is our standard output; cosmetic grade and pharmaceutical grade are produced against the corresponding specification, with the COA issued to the figure agreed in the quotation rather than to a generic range. If your destination requires a particular monograph or a limit tighter than the standard one, say so at enquiry stage and it is written into the specification before production.
Quality is documented, not asserted. Production runs under ISO 9001 and ISO 22000 management systems, and Halal and Kosher certificates are available for confirmation before shipment. Each batch is released only after assay, water content, pH, specific gravity, heavy metals, lead, nickel, sulfated ash and microbiological testing, and a retained sample is kept from every lot.
Traceability from feedstock to drum. Every drum carries a batch number and production date, and the lot record links the finished syrup back to the glucose feedstock, the process parameters and the packing run. When a question comes back from your customer three months later, the answer is a document, not an estimate.
Packing built for the distance. Liquid ships in blue high density polyethylene drums with two sealed bungs and a heat sealed liner, closed and labelled before it leaves the filling area. Powder ships in 25 kg kraft bags with a PE inner liner. Both forms can be combined in one container when a buyer needs a mixed load, and packing is quoted with the goods rather than added afterwards.
Technical support on both sides of the order. Before the order, we help with the practical questions - how much sucrose or glucose syrup a given percentage of sorbitol can replace, how the syrup behaves at your process temperature, what documentation your registration or customs file needs. After the order, the batch COA and MSDS are issued with the shipment so your own quality file stays complete.
One person from quotation to shipment. Enquiries are answered by the same contact who follows the order through production, inspection, booking and documents, so specification changes and shipping instructions do not get lost between departments.
