Maltitol Syrup 75/50 is a clear, colourless viscous liquid with D-Maltitol (CAS 585-88-6). This food grade grade contains 75% solid content and at least 50% D-maltitol on a dry basis. It works as a low-calorie humectant and mild sweetener, widely used in sugar-free food manufacturing. It helps retain moisture and stabilise product texture while reducing the risk of crystallization in finished food products.
Our maltitol syrup 75/50 is produced under strict food safety protocols. Each batch is fully tested before delivery. COA and MSDS documents can be offered for quality inspection and customs clearance. It features moderate viscosity and excellent compatibility with most food raw materials. It delivers a smooth, gentle sweetness without causing tooth decay.
In sugar-free confectionery applications, this maltitol syrup maintains the soft texture of candies, pastilles and chewing gum. It prevents grainy crystals and keeps a pleasant mouthfeel throughout storage.
It is also suitable for bakery and functional foods. It traps moisture inside baked goods to avoid drying and staling. For nutraceuticals, it acts as a taste masking agent to improve the flavour of low-calorie nutritional supplements.
The maltitol syrup 75/50 is packed in leak-proof 250kg plastic drums, well suited for long-distance sea transportation. Custom packaging can be discussed for large bulk orders. When stored in sealed containers inside a cool, dry and ventilated warehouse, away from direct sunlight and high temperature, the shelf life is 24 months.

Confectionery masses cooked after dosing. Because the syrup carries 25% water, it is charged at the start of a cook where that water will be driven off in the pan. It is not the grade to add at the end of a boil, where its water would have nowhere to go.
Beverage and liquid systems. The lower viscosity makes it the practical choice for a syrup room, where dosing is by flowmeter or by volume and the line has no heating. Solids are adjusted for the water it contributes to the final Brix.
Bakery and cereal coatings. A 75% syrup penetrates and coats evenly at ambient temperature and holds a gloss on a baked surface, with the water flashing off in the oven or the dryer.
Sauces, dressings and liquid fillings. In a water-based system with a target water activity above 0.85, the 75/50 grade gives humectancy and body without pushing the product into a stiff, unpumpable texture.
Where a lower water load or a higher maltitol ratio is needed, the 80/55 and 85/55 grades are the alternatives; the choice is normally driven by the water budget of the formula.

Each lot is released on dry substance by refractometry, water by Karl Fischer, maltitol and sorbitol by HPLC, pH on a 50% solution, reducing sugars, conductivity ash, metals and plate counts. The two figures that define the grade, dry substance and maltitol on the dry basis, are both reported explicitly so the delivery can be checked against the purchase specification without recalculation.
Lot codes tie the drum to the evaporation run and to the retained sample. Re-test of a retained sample is available if a customer needs to verify a delivery after it has been stored.
Standard packing is a 250kg lacquered steel drum with a food-grade liner, hot-filled and closed with a gasketed clamp lid. For bulk users, a 1000kg IBC with a bottom valve is also available. Drums travel four per pallet, 80 per 20ft container, and IBC loads run 18-20 units. Neutral and buyer-labelled packing are both available.

Keep the drums under cover at 15-30°C, off a concrete floor that sweats and away from direct sunlight. The 75/50 grade is the easiest of the range to handle cold, but it still thickens below 15°C; warm to 40°C and mix if pumping slows. Reseal after drawing and avoid leaving a drum open in a humid room. Sealed drums stay within specification for 24 months.
